Arduino, loved by its millions of users world wide had a big announcement to make at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2020, sure to make its users even happier. A solution to making digital transformation through IoT easier; its all-in-one IoT platform 'Pro'.
Along with the new platform they also announced its powerful new Arduino Portenta family, with its first member being the 'Arduino Portenta H7 module – a dual-core Arm Cortex-M7 and Cortex-M4 operating at 480MHz and 240MHz, respectively, with industrial temperature-range (-40 to 85°C) components'
The low-code application development platform along with the modular hardware is said to allow companies to 'build, measure, and iterate quicker and without the need for expensive consultants.
Arduino CEO Fabio Violante had this to say, “By combining the power and flexibility of our production ready IoT hardware with our secure, scalable and easy to integrate cloud services, we are putting in the hands of our customers something really disruptive”.
We are excited to see what innovation such accessibility will bring and love that Arduino is sticking to their open source philosophy!
