2018 in Review

What a year it has been for team Yantrah!

2018 was the year we become official. After months of market research & market validation, by June end we were officially an incorporated company. Prior to that in May we ran our first ever 3D Printing & Robotics workshop. We learnt so much in the process and are all geared up for our next May vacation workshop in 2019 (Its officially now an annual affair!)

We signed on a school and have been successfully running a Tinkering Hub at Divine Public School in Navsari for a few months now. Within the first month there, we had completed 78 sessions across 39 classes, reaching over 1600 students. Something we are most definitely proud of!

We are also in the process of setting up a Tinkering Hub at a college in Surat. We are still riding on the high of the Grand MegaXpo '18 that wrapped up on Monday. All the positive feeback and energy from that expo is exactly what we need to hit the ground running in 2019! We had exhibited at the same expo the previous year with 1 3D printer in a single booth. This year we had the space of 4 booths & had 4 printers for show (and that wasn't even all of our printers!)

We had a team participate in the Google Science fair and another team take place at the IIT Bombay Tech Fest competitions & placed 3rd in one of them.

We have met so many enthusiastic parents, students & professionals along the way & are extremely great full for all their positive feedback & support. We are ready for an ever stronger, more exciting 2019. Cheers to the year that has been and bring on 2019!
